Donations

Hunger Intervention Program is a 501(c)(3) public charity. Donations are tax deductible and go entirely toward providing meals to those in need.

Pre-tax and Matching Gifts

Check with your employer. Many, including Washington Mutual, RealNetworks, and Microsoft, will match your HIP cash donation. Send your employer-sponsored matching funds paper work with your donation to HIP. We will be happy to handle the application process.

HIP is a recognized organization of the Washington State Combined Fund Drive (CFD) for state employees. Pre-tax donations through CFD can be directed to "Hunger Intervention Program." HIP's CFD code is 517756.

For your privacy and in keeping with the philosophy that all funds go to meals for those in need, HIP does not maintain donor lists or contact donors with unsolicited communications. If you need a receipt for tax preparation, please attach a note to your check.

Give a HIP Gift Card

Gift those "hard-to-shop-for" friends and relatives with a donation to HIP in their honor.

Your tax deductible gift goes directly for food purchases.

Send your request by email to hungerintervention@comcast.net. Include your gift recipient's name and address. Your gift can be for any amount you choose; send payment by check or online. HIP will promptly send the gift card to your friend or relative. Remember, HIP does not keep names of donors or those who have been honored with donations by others.
